Gerard and Toshenna (PJ) Petrino are a proud husband-and-wife team of U.S. Army Veterans who have brought their shared passion for service and community to their new venture, Veteran Hot Dogs. As the new owners of this established food truck, Gerard and PJ are excited to continue it's tradition of great food while adding their own personal touch and flair.
Originally from New York/New Jersey, Gerard brings his northern flavor and big-city energy, while PJ, a North Carolina native, adds her southern warmth and hospitality. Together, they make the perfect blend of dedication, teamwork, and heart.
Proud parents of four sons, the Petrinos value family, community, and service above all else. Their mission with Veteran Hot Dogs is simple. They want to serve delicious food with a side of gratitude while giving back to the community that continues to support them.
As lifelong food lovers and community-driven entrepreneurs, Gerard and PJ see Veteran Hot Dogs as more than just a business; it’s a way to connect with people, create memorable experiences, and honor their military roots through service in a new form. Whether they’re feeding families at local neighborhoods, supporting veteran events, or popping up at community gatherings, the Petrinos are committed to delivering quality, kindness, and a taste of pride in every bite.
